| Proposal: | Addition of a new part 511 "Nano-enabled electrotechnical products and systems" comprising the terminology published in IEC TS 80004-9:2017.

2nd evaluation:
The comments received during the 1st evaluation have resulted in the addition of 12 new entries to the 24 entries already present in the change request. See "C00036 observations on 1st evaluation comments - final". Therefore, it has been decided to submit this change request to a 2nd evaluation to allow the VT 60050 members to review the new entries.
Please note that all new entries have been derived from published ISO standards. In line with the spirit of the TC 1 Change Request Processing Scheme, it is proposed to follow the "Normal database procedure" since these terms and definitions have already been approved by the ISO community.

| Justification and explanation: | The IEC Terminology Coordinator submitted comments to the Convenor and IEC Co-Convenor of IEC/TC 113/JWG 1 during the development of IEC TS 80004-9:2017 to ensure that the final publication was suitable for inclusion in the IEV. Thus the entries included in this change request are identical to those in the published Technical Specification except for minor editorial changes for adaptation to the current IEV rules and the addition of cross-references to other IEV entries.
