| Proposal: | IEC 60050-702 includes a number of concepts for which similar entries are present in other IEV 700 parts except for part 701 (the 1st to 3rd sets of entries detail entries in IEV part 701 which have similar entries in other IEV 700 parts). This is the sixth set of a series.

Validation stage: The entries have been updated in accordance with the comments received at evaluation stage and the observations listed in the file "C00032 Observations on comments - final.pdf".

- on the maintenance portal in the folder "Items > Draft".

Evaluation stage:
The proposals are based on Decision 6/2015 b) of the TC1 plenary meeting in Prague. Meanwhile, in many cases the provision of 6/2015 b) “retain all entries” was not followed to the letter although it has been followed in intent. Further details are provided in the document "C00032 – evaluation (en).pdf".
The French versions of the entries are presented in a separate document "C00032 – evaluation (fr).pdf" for purposes of practicality.
VT60050 members are invited to comment on each proposal individually.
The revised entries can be viewed in several ways:
- in the file "C00032 snapshot - evaluation.pdf", and
- on the maintenance portal in the folder "Items > Proposed".
It is proposed to follow the "Normal database procedure".

| Justification and explanation: | In addition, in line with Decision 2/2015, and the need for permanent maintenance of the IEV, editorial improvements to the entries have been carried out as well as updating for conformity with the current editorial rules.
