Synonym1:
Synonym2:
Synonym3:
Symbol: Φv,p,α
Φα
Definition: luminous flux emitted within a specified cone angle, α, determined from the luminous intensity distribution, Iv(θ,φ), of the light source

Φ v,p,α = φ=0 2π θ=0 α/2 I v (θ,φ)sinθdθdφ MathType@MTEF@5@5@+= feaagKart1ev2aqatCvAUfeBSjuyZL2yd9gzLbvyNv2CaerbbjxAHX garuavP1wzZbItLDhis9wBH5garmWu51MyVXgaruWqVvNCPvMCG4uz 3bqee0evGueE0jxyaibaieYdi9WrpeeC0lXdh9vqqj=hEeea0xXdbb a9frFj0=OqFfea0dXdd9vqaq=JfrVkFHe9pgea0dXdar=Jb9hs0dXd bPYxe9vr0=vr0=vqpWqaaeaaciWacmGadaGadeaaeaGaauaaaOqaai abfA6agnaaBaaaleaacaqG2bGaaeilaiaabchacaqGSaGaeqySdega beaakiabg2da9maapehabaWaa8qCaeaacaWGjbWaaSbaaSqaaiaabA haaeqaaOGaaiikaiabeI7aXjaacYcacqaHgpGAcaGGPaGaaGjbVlGa cohacaGGPbGaaiOBaiabeI7aXjaaysW7caqGKbGaeqiUdeNaaGjbVl aabsgacqaHgpGAaSqaaiabeI7aXjabg2da9iaaicdaaeaacqaHXoqy caGGVaGaaGOmaaqdcqGHRiI8aaWcbaGaeqOXdOMaeyypa0JaaGimaa qaaiaaikdaimaacqWFapaCa0Gaey4kIipaaaa@65FA@

Note 1 to entry: (θ,φ) = (0,0) is the direction of the cone axis, which can be coincident with the mechanical axis or optical beam axis of the light source or any other direction, and should be specified.

Note 2 to entry: The cone angle, α, which can be expressed either in degree (°) or radian (rad), is given by the full conic angle and has to be specified, e.g. Φp,90° or Φp,π/2.

Note 3 to entry: The term "cone luminous flux" is also used in some applications with the same meaning.

Note 4 to entry: See also "useful luminous flux".

Note 5 to entry: The partial luminous flux is expressed in lumen (lm).
